The event began in the early morning hours with a procession through the main streets of Virudhachalam. 

    Participants held placards and banners emphasizing the importance of tree planting, water conservation, and reducing plastic usage. 

    Several cultural programs and street plays were also staged to spread awareness among the public.

Local leaders, environmental activists, and students shared their views on how collective action is necessary 

    to tackle climate change and protect natural resources. The event concluded with a tree planting drive at the town park, 

    where more than 200 saplings were planted by the volunteers.
